In, 2016 a National Climate Change Impact Survey(NCCIS) was conducted by the Central Bureau of Statistics to aid the initiative started by Nepal Government to achieve the Sustainable development goals and to take action against climate change.Climate change has affected and will continue to cause greater negative impacts on different aspects of environment which directly and indirectly will affect livelihood of living species.This survey explores knowledge of people, about climate change and found that only 49.33% of household have heard about climate change.63.59% of participants who were household in mountain region reported that they have not heard about climate change.
