Distribution of Households Having Agricultural Land

The table represents percentage distribution of households having agricultural land. Highest percentage of households in rural area own agricultural land (92.61%). In the ecological belt, highest percentages of households in mountain region (96.79%) possess agricultural land followed by hills (84.80%) and Terai (77.46%). Majority of households have agricultural land across all the categories of vulnerability index so as in all the Bio-Climatic Zones.
